Eats
Local Gem
Some of you may have picked up, I love Japanese Food. I am constantly on a mission to find places that live up to the quality of the food in Japan. This is why this weeks local gem is Natu Sushi.
After seeing Bitemenewyโs video on Instagram, I knew I had to try it. Overall, the food was great. They served all Japanese classics, such as katsu curry, Ramen, and even Australian-style sushi.
Definitely recommend. Located at Hilltop plaza, 1/226 Pacific Hwy, Charlestown NSW 2290

Miscellaneous
Perfect picnics
For some locals, the Hickson Street Lookout may not be much of a secret, but I should share it just in case. This spot is one of my favourite picnic/relaxation spots in Newcastle. Located just off the track where Merewether meets Glenrock State Conservation Area. To get there, park the car and follow the track to reveal a secluded patch of grass overlooking the sea views of Burwood Beach. The only thing that spoiled this beautiful view was the curious bush turkeys. Got a spot you want to share? Let me know by replying to this email.

Newcastle real estate
After last weekโs feature, I thought I would share another crazy Newcastle house sale. A three-bedroom, one-bathroom weatherboard house on 1005 square metres has sold for $1.9 million. The house located at 192 St James Road Lambton had an auction guide of $1.5 million.
