Eats
Local Gem
I have heavily featured Newcastle’s cafe scene, and when I think about the good cuisine the city has to offer, my mind and I am sure a lot of other people immediately go to Italian.
However, the Japanese food scene is very underrated. I want to bring this week’s local gem to light: Susuru Ramen & Gyoza. Located on 140 King Street, Susuru features the closest quality Tokotsu ramen I have tried since I travelled to Japan. They have a large range of ramen options as well as other Japanese classics such as gyoza, karaage as well as Japanese style cocktails and drinks. I highly recommend it.
